Mulled Apple Cider
1/2 c light brown sugar
2 qt apple cider
1 tsp whole allspice
1 1/2 tsp whole cloves
3 cinnamon sticks
2 oranges, sliced
To make your Mulled Apple Cider, combine all ingredients in your slow cooker. Stir until the brown sugar is well dissolved. Cover and cook on low for 2-4 hours. Strain spices before serving.
I remember my grandma mulling Apple Cider when I was a child. To me, it is such a part of fall and winter evenings.
